John Kendrick Chapter, a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on May 20, 1914.
Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. If you are interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please email our chapter leader, Regent.
If you are 18 years or older and think you have an ancestor who helped achieve American independence, let’s talk! We are happy to help you investigate and document your descendancy for DAR membership. Please email our chapter membership committee, Registrar, for assistance.
Women join the DAR for a variety of reasons. We strive to cultivate sisterhood while supporting the community in which we work and live.
Although DAR's three fundamental objectives of Historic Preservation, Patriotism, and Education have guided every endeavor of our chapter, the defining passion has been patriotism. We are particularly passionate about serving veterans and commemorative events.
